Recently, a Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Jeju Air in South Korea arrived at the scheduled inspection hangar of Hainan Free Trade Port's one-stop aircraft maintenance industry base to receive special maintenance services fromGrand China Aviation Maintenance Company, a subsidiary of HNA Technic. This is the first time that Hainan Free Trade Port has received aircraft maintenance services from South Korea, and also the first entry aircraft maintenance service from Northeast Asia.
The maintenance project for this aircraft is a 4C high-level scheduled inspection, which involves maintenance work in various professional categories such as avionics, power, fuselage, structure, wings, cabin, etc. Currently, nearly 900 related work cards have been formulated, and the estimated maintenance cycle is about 16 days. This project can enjoy preferential policies such as free entry maintenance deposit, adding bonded aviation fuel, and tax exemption for maintenance aviation materials at Hainan Free Trade Port.
Since the beginning of this year, the Hainan Free Trade Port one-stop aircraft maintenance industry base has successively undertaken the first inbound aircraft maintenance business in ASEAN regions such as Thailand and Vietnam, and signed nearly 100 million yuan of aircraft spray painting orders with Qatar Airways. Now, it is targeting the aviation maintenance market in Northeast Asia and will further expand the aircraft maintenance market of the Free Trade Port.
